What about dads? Come on. I think there should be a section on that site that includes dads.

You know, it started as: Choosy Moms choose Jif.
But then became: Choosy Moms and Dads choose Jif.
And sales went up.

Just a thought. Thanks for the link.

FYI - I think everyone should take advantage of blogger and their free blogs. it's such an easy way to get up an running quick and free. now that you can post photos, it's perfect. as you can see from my blog: http://www.americaninventor.blogspot.com/

While I'm still trying to get my real website up off the ground: www.theworldssmartest.com it's an easy place to forward people to let them see what my invention is all about. And again, it's FREE.

google blogger. and you'll be on your way.

later.

mr. geocities...

dude... get over it and do us all a favor and stop posting the link here. I'm sorry it didn't go well for you. Truly. But please do not try to hijack this forum, you'll ruin it for all. Instead, why not forward a link to your invention. Register it at inventorunderground.com too. And give it a go that way.

good luck.

Hey, why not give Mr. Geocities a voice? Isn't that what Blogs are for? I don't see how a link to his site hurts any of us.

I would agree, I don't think it would hurt any of us to link to Mr. Geocities site. But... he seems a bit too angry. And by allowing this link, I would have to allow anyone who wants to rage to link to their page.

That's not what I want this blog to be about. Maybe I'll start another blog titled: The good, the bad, the ugly side of inventing.

If he wants to write about his experience here, that's fine. But for those of you that have seen the site, it's too personal. He calls out people and producers by name. Gives phone numbers. Photos, etc. I don't know these people personally. Do any of you? So F that. I don't believe in it. I'm not going there and neither is this blog.

I would like to keep the LINKS to inventors sites, useful inventor info, fun articles, and 3rd party info. For example, the links to articles by local newspapers for those who auditioned. It's public domain already, so no big deal. If one of those articles is scathing... I'll post it. No problem.

Yes, I do believe in freedom of speech. But many people have acknowledged they would rather NOT link to this type stuff because they feel it might hurt their chances somehow, or someone might try to shut this blog down. And again, I'm just not into all the negative stuff.

If people want to rage on, they can start their own blog. Start their own web page. Just don't expect this blog to play along.

Cool? No? Whatever.

Keep inventing. That's what matters.

An awesome inventor magazine. Hard to find on the shelves, but you can always order it. If you fly the Delta Shuttle you'll often find it in the FREE magazine racks. That's where I discovered it.

Hello, This is Tom with Dirt Drain International.
Inventor of the Dirt Drain,The welcome mat redefined.
We "KEEP DIRT AT THE DOOR"
Check us out @ www.dirtdrain.com.

A great link for exposure that I used and still get alot of hits from is: www.inventionshowcase.com.
The sites owner Ted Vancleave is a very helpful individual that pointed us in the right direction when we launched and I highly recommend his site.
He and his insight got us to Home & Garden television in "04".

Being an Inventor is very rewarding, demanding, uplifting and has highs and lows.
One day your in a cloud with all the attention/hype and the next its like what the"F"did I do?
Is it worth it?
Why do I keep on keepin on?
My new truck money is in a piece of aluminum in a shop that makes our parts and hasnt been fired up in how long?

And this can go on and on! To each Inventor thier own perspective.
But all in all it's worth it!
Its a great feeling everytime someone orders a part that "YOU"created-That was NOT there before "YOU" came along.
To hell with the sleepless nights-the sometimes wasted money-the mistakes along the way will build your character-Your Brand.
And yes anyone can have an Idea-Get a Patent-have it manufactured and offer it on-line but then the word 'BRANDING" comes into play after that and it has been two years since our launch and we have only touched the tip of where we need to be with brand awareness and climbing I might add.
In closing- This is "THE"hardest thing I've ever done and the most rewarding.
More than likely you'll be just like us here @ Dirt Drain International.

One day its hi-fives and champaign and the next its why do we still do this?
NEVER GIVE UP!
IT IS WORTH IT!!!
